About Werner Mölders and this piece

Werner Mölders (1913–1941) was one of the most successful fighter pilots of World War II with 115 aerial victories and Commodore of Jagdgeschwader 51. As the very first soldier of the Wehrmacht, he received the highest German war decoration – the Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords and Diamonds.
