The embroidered SS Eagle with Hoheitszeichen was one of the central uniform insignia of the Waffen-SS and was worn both as an arm eagle (left upper arm of the uniform jacket) and as a garrison cap eagle (field cap). The size of approx. 9.8 × 4.3 cm corresponds to the typical design for the sleeve.
