The Coburg Badge was instituted in 1932 and awarded to participants of the "Deutscher Tag" (German Day) on October 14/15, 1922, in Coburg – exclusively to SA members who took part in this historically significant rally. It is among the earliest and rarest awards in NSDAP history.
