  • Reinhard Suhren (* April 16, 1916, Langenschwalbach / Hesse; † August 5, 1984, Hamburg) – Bearer of the Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords, one of the most successful U-boat commanders of the Kriegsmarine.
  • Gerd Suhren (* May 16, 1914, Tafaigata / German Samoa; † May 6, 1991) – also a bearer of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross.
