Rare original photo card (AK) of a Knight's Cross recipient of the German submarine navy: Kapitänleutnant Gerd Suhren (* May 16, 1914, Tafaigata / German Samoa; † May 6, 1991) – an authentic contemporary document from World War II.

Gerd Suhren was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross and a commander in the German U-boat force. He is also known as the brother of the even more successful Reinhard Suhren (Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords). This photo card is a coveted collector's item for lovers of naval history and militaria.
