About this piece

The Luftwaffe side cap eagle was the insignia on the side cap (Einheitsfeldmütze M34/M38) – the informal everyday cap of Luftwaffe personnel. Unlike the large uniform eagle for the chest of the uniform jacket, the side cap eagle was smaller and more compact. Embroidered Luftwaffe side cap eagles in fabric are rare on the collector's market – especially in combination with the HK.
