The Scharnhorst-Jungmännerbund was the official youth organization of the Stahlhelm, Bund der Frontsoldaten – the largest right-conservative veterans' organization of the Weimar Republic with at times over 500,000 members. Named after the Prussian military reformer Gerhard von Scharnhorst, the Jungmännerbund was aimed at young people and young men as a junior organization of the Stahlhelm. The Stahlhelm and its sub-organizations were dissolved by the National Socialists in 1933/34 and transferred to the SA – their badges and medals are extremely rare today. Badges of the Scharnhorst-Jungmännerbund are among the rarest Weimar Republic collectibles ever. Also available: Freikorps Wehrwolf Halle (Item No. 32.926) and other pre-1933 badges in our assortment.
