About this piece

Embroidered uniform eagles with swastika were used by several Nazi organizations – including the SS, the NSDAP, and the NSFK (National Socialist Flyers Corps), the umbrella organization of German civil aviation in the Third Reich. The size of approx. 11 × 6 cm corresponds to a large breast eagle and is documented for all three organizations. Embroidered eagles of this size and quality are rare on the collector's market – especially when the exact wearer organization can be clearly identified through scans.
