Braunschweig – Peninsula Medal 1909 with ribbon
Museum reproduction / Repro | Item number: 31.179
The Brunswick Peninsula Medal was instituted in 1909 and awarded to members of the Ducal Brunswick Infantry Regiment No. 92 who had participated in the campaigns on the Iberian Peninsula during the Napoleonic Wars – one of the rarest and most historically significant awards among German small state militaria.
High-quality collector's reproduction, manufactured after 1945 based on historical models – hardly distinguishable from the original. From an old dealer's stock.
