High Seas Fleet Badge of the Kriegsmarine – Early Post-War Production 1950s (Manufacturer marked)

The High Seas Fleet Badge was instituted on April 30, 1941 by the Commander-in-Chief of the Kriegsmarine, Grand Admiral Erich Raeder. It could be awarded to all crew members of the battleships and cruisers deployed – including soldiers killed or deceased in action.

This piece is an early post-war production from the 1950s with a manufacturer's mark. Such early post-war pieces with manufacturer's marks are highly valued by collectors and today possess their own collector's value. This item comes from an old dealer's stock.
